I've said this twelve billion times before.
One of these two. Both are equally genius.
Bill Bailey, or Bill Hicks.

You can only do polls when you begin the thread. At the bottom, there is an option for polls.
Stewart, Rock and Cho kick ass.

Jasper Carrott's very good...does John Cleese count? He's brilliant, too.
And I have to agree; Bill Bailey's a genius.

I'm sure that in the "thread tools" section in the top right of the screen, there's an "add poll" option, if you're editing the first post.

There are many: Dennis Miller, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Jeff Foxworthy, ( forgot his first name ) Harvey, and many others.
Some of my most favorite comedians are now gone: Milton Berle, Red Skelton, the inimitable Red Foxx, and the one I love most beacause of his humor and his support for American military personnel - Bob Hope.

Absolutely agreed. (Plus, it's pretty cool that he went to my high school and was taught by my English teacher... not when I was there, of course, but still! :D )
I'm also a fan of Billy Crystal, but he can be more hit or miss.

I saw Mitch Hedberg open for Lewis Black and Dave Attel in Philadelphia one new year's eve. He was so wasted he couldn't do his act properly. Tried to do the same joke on about three separate occasions during his set. He was still funny though.

I, too, like Mitch Hedburg. I saw him when he was just starting out doing a crappy comedy competition in Sacramento where you got in for $2 if you wrote a radio stations name one a piece of junk. He was funny then, he's funnier now.
I like Jake Johanson, David Cross, the last time I saw Patton Oswald it was pretty funny, I've been a Jon Stewart fan for since Lunch with Jon-or more so with his short lived syndicated talk show, Lewis Black, Janeane Garfalo(sp), some more I think I've forgotten.
Big cats, like Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, George Carlin etc.

He's just so... lame.
And I know that all the best comics were nerds in high school, but Conan looks like he hasn't quite gotten over that... he tries too hard.
EDIT: er, I guess I should make that middle school. By high school people started to realize the nerds were the more interesting ones anyway.

You are too harsh, other than Jon Stewart, Conan does the best interviews of any talk show host. His monologues are a struggle, but how many monologues are good to begin with?

You wouldn't think it but def Jam's Queens of Comedy DVD is actually pretty funny.
Maybe I was just wicked stoned last weekend, but watching Monique, a 300 hundred pound sack of quivering cellulite, scream and rant about "hatefull skinny bitches" and how they need to "eat a chicken wing or sumptin" was the funniest damn thing I ever saw. You may want to turn off the DVD though before she gets into her bit about how much she loves giving her man rim jobs and the importance of giving your man a bath before doing so.
