So I was hunting around the bargain bin at my local Gamestop looking for some sort of new game to play on my Gamecube when I came across a used copy of "Legends of Zelda: The Wind Waker" for $5.00.
It looked like a silly kiddie game, but I thought, "Hey. Why not? Five bucks and it might be ok."
Surprisingly addictive game. Sure, it's a bit cartoony and cheesy, but it's actually quite enjoyable. That's all I've got to say about that.

Even though it doesn't beat Ocarina of Time for originality or Majora's Mask for sheer atmosphere, The Wind Waker is still a great game.

I love Zelda games! In fact, I love them so much that the music for Kakariko Village in Ocarina of Time (with Link as the kid) is actually the national anthem for one of my Puppets! :D (namely, Belle Hades)

So far, the only zelda game that has just sucked is # 2. The Four Swords sucks, but only if you don't have at least 3 people.

Those games rock! Ocarina of time is my all time favourite! One of my other nations, Kariyakistan, also has the Kakariko village song as the national anthem. Dang coincidence, huh?

That's pretty cool!
The reason belle hades has Kakariko village as the anthem is because when I created the planet in Celestia (link in my sig), and watched the sunset on the uber-slow spinning planet at a high rate of time while listening to that song, it sent chills up my spine. :)
What's your reason?

Zelda- This series of games makes me want to chuck the controller through the television screen, which Elvis certainly would have done if they would have had Nintendo in his day. Great series of games though. My favorite would have to be the one that came out with SNES, Link to the Past. Really the only bad one was Zelda II.
Ah, Zelda, the greatest serise of games of all time, WW may have been short but it was good, and OoT is the greatest...Game....Ever.

So far I'm enjoying Wind Waker more than Ocarina of Time. But I have to admit, I'm getting pretty annoyed with having to bust the Waker out every five seconds.

I got through it all and it's a pretty long game. Lots of replayability, too. I'm not going through it again and trying to do all the subquests and such.

I remember when OOT came out and the magazines went crazy over it. It has the best first play through of any game ive played. Now I can knock it off in less than 10 hours. Classic.

Ocarina of Time, I play that at least once a month. I'm trying to beat Wind Waker for the third time. Actually, I spent 2 years on OOT. This series is what started my obsession for swords and sword collecting.
I started replaying OoT recently (I don't think I've ever done the whole game myself) after that I will play my brand new copy of Wind Waker!

Actually, Windwaker is my least favorite of every single Zelda game, and i've played them all. I don't know why, but it pisses me off.
Ocarina of Time (N64) and A Link to the Past (SNES) are the best ones.

I've been looking for an Ocarina of Time ROM, but I hate searching for ROMs. ROM sites always seem to be a bunch of vote links and anime porn ads.

Yup, at least on e-bay and in used game stores. I just bought it about a week ago for $15, and it's a fantastic game. I have to say, though, that A link to the past is still the best Zelda game (though I haven't played Majora's Mask or Windwaker). Plus, snes roms are easy to come by, so if you liked the newer zelda games, go back and play the best!

I have a Gamecube copy... it's a special edition. The disk also has Majora's mask, all the original NES games and even Link to the Past... The ultimate disk... :D

I don't think any game will ever be better than A Link to the Past for me. I like Wind Waker a lot though. Ocarina of Time was pretty good, but I never liked Majora's Mask. The whole 3-day time limit thing was pretty annoying.
Let's not forget Link's Awakening, too! I really liked that one...

Damn, I bought the special edition disk with Ocarina Of Time and The Wind Waker on it. That was before I found out you could get a disk with ALL the zelda games on it...
By the way, that Saddam picture with the hat would absolutely rock if the caption was "Eyyy, Gringo".
I got that all in one disk, after I brought the new wind waker disk. *Slaps self* I've just started OOT again. Got past the *Ocarena in the moat bit*
