They are stupid and they generalize horribly, but I still find them funny. I also find "you know a conservative when" lists funny as well. If there someone I like making fun of more than other people, its myself. :p

My thread was the rebuttal. He had an entire thread for it, so I will have an entire thread for it. I do not want to engage in debating the validity of his original post, so I will start my own line of conversation. *Last sentence left out to avoid deletion*

His thread was an ignorant attack on a group of people he doesn't understand. Yours is no better. "He started it" isn't a valid excuse once you've finished the 3rd grade.

You started this thread to bash conservatives in general and him in particular. How is that any different from starting a thread for the purpose of bashing liberals? Granted, given the political composition of this forum, yours had a lower liklihood of being called out for it.

Tell me where I bashed conservatives. I just pointed out that these lists are pointless. Notice that I even made it a point to not make a list out of it.

It's technically an admonition against murder, not killing. Plenty of killing in God's name in the Old Testament, and even in the New Testament, Jesus tells his disciples to sell their cloaks and get some swords. Plenty of people hanged, stoned, etc., in punishment in the Bible.

Technically, according to the Old Testament, if someone comes into your house like a thief in the night, you are obligated to leap up and kill them. That's not murder.

Just doing God's will, you know.
