Ah, but Top Gear agrees! 3 secs according to them...

I vote the old VW Beatle, because they're really cute.
I dig my '67 VW Bus with Westfalia package. Except for times like now when she's being all cranky and wanting attention. But it's really my fault for treating her like a closet and using her to drive up a hill everyday at the same time.
Though I chose the Hybrid on the list because it's the best car for me right now. Sure, Viper would be cool, but I gotta put gas in it and insure it. No thanks. Small foot print for me. I'll scratch my hot hod itch later.

Autocar is one of the oldest and most respected car magazines in the world, i trust them :P

I think you guys are forgeting something very important.
There is no substitute. (http://www2.porsche.com/)
(just pretend the Chayenne doesn't exist, it's just a hot roded Turage....)
saw one of the 997s today, not a big difference but the front looks much better
the Cayenne is almost as ugly as a 7 series sadly...:(
I vote the old VW Beatle, because they're really cute.
but more importantly they kick butt!!
for Jaguar Coupe are we talking XKR or E-type?
and the winner, if it was on the poll, would be an Aston Martin DB5, or a DB9

Hopefully the E-type.
As for the Aston Martin, in this we are agreed!

Big changes have never been thier thing. Especially when they do the faithful throw a fit. (But to be fair, those fried egg headlights had to go-the boxster and the 911 should be distinct in an instant)
I just can't come around on the Cayenne. And I'm the most forgiving of the faithful. I had a 914 and even have found love for the 924 (my friend's was fun, until he got to zealous and cracked it) and have in the last few years came around on the 928 (though it still has an ugly butt)
I still hold out the ridiculous and unfounded hope that they'll turn the Carrera back into a LMP car and get another overall win at Le Mans. Bastards. Why won't they cater to the expensive demands of someone who can't afford to even be on the lot of one of thier dealers? What's wrong with them?.....oh....

Hooray!!!

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the XK-R(8), though the E-Type is all class. Same with the DB5......I would drive that in GT 2 just to watch the re-plays.
Hooray!!!

did you say Zonda
thought so ;)

they do great cars like the 911 and the Carrera GT (*drool*) and then go and spoil it with a stupid looking 4x4 thats in complete contrast to the heritage and direction of the company
kind of makes you wonder
as for the 928, yea its pretty ugly...but also beautiful at the same time

You learn once you drive one that you are never in that much of a hurry to get anywhere. It's pretty relaxing.
Until people start thinking that the turn signal means "Hurry up! He's trying to get in front of us!!!" Then you get irratated. Other than that-the severe drop in traffic stops that happened when I went from sports car to bus has balanced out how long it takes to get somewhere....

It took a test drive thanks to an optomistic salesman to win me finally. I was doing 80 around a bend and accelerating and the car almost seemed to be saying, "Is that all you got?" I like the coiled spring feel of thier cars and the 928s long legs was a nice contrast and compliment.
I wish the Cayenne was a mistake, but they sold out before they started building it. I'm sure that speaks louder to them than my bitching. Unfortunately.
I wish the Cayenne was a mistake,
if only...*sigh*

All the cars here suck. And they suck bad. By "Mini Cooper" I assume you mean the British Mini as opposed to the German Mini that's about as 'mini' as a Volkswagen Golf? SO I voted for that. God bless innovation.
I'll take a Vauxhall Chevette HS or a Cavalier GSi 2000 cheers. Or possibly a Mk1 RS Mexico. You can keep your modern crap and shove it where the sun doesn't overheat your fragile thermostat.

I love my '99 Ford Explorer. It drives great andhas plenty of power when I need it. I especially love the sound system I put in it. My pair of JL audio 12's thumps.
My first car was a 67 beetle
I currently drive a TDI new beetle
I also like my 76 eldorado convertible, even though I have to take out a loan to feed it gas when I drive it (6 mpg)
it is a bummer that we in the US miss out on alot of the really great cars sold in europe but not here
