Headaches...

I hate them, I really do.
I used to have migranes, and if you havent had one...well, I envy you. Anyway, I usualy get the sort of 'light' headache that hurts just enough to distract you, and cause sharp pain when you move your head quickly.
This is also a pain because I frequently get colds, meaning that whenever I cough, well, its sort of like when a cartoon charecter blows into a balloon to hard and the air rushes back into their mouth and causes their head to expand quite a bit.
Of course, I guess I should be thankful. The headaches are most likely the only thing which has stopped me from dying of a terminal radiation overdose from my computer monitor :P

Unless you're allergic, of course.

I'm surprised masochists don't get more headaches...

Actually if you are healthy you probably shouldnt suffer from unexplained headaches frequently.

Usually people who do frequently suffer are either suffering due to physical stress on the neck, or mental stress or (most commonly) are actually routinely dehydrated. As silly as it sounds compared to 'take an asprin' have you tried drinking water at the onset of headaches? If they dissipate after drinking water, you will have found the cause. If this doesnt work see if you can get someone to massage your neck, and scalp (if you often suffer and suspect stress triggers, massage your scalp whenever you take a shower).

I used to do 'shampooing' in a hairdressing salon, and scalp massages work very well when the cause of a headache is stress, either physical or mental.

If you do have persistent and frequent headaches, and they dont appear to have an obvious cause (such as physical stress on the neck and shoulders, mental stress, or dehydration), it might be in your best interests to consider medical advice, since headaches can be an early sign of health concerns.

The only headaches I usually get are caused by all the voices competing for attention.

I get migranes but when I get headaches like you described I take something called 'Panodil Brus', it's a tablet that you put in water and drink. It is really fast working and strong, kicks in even better and quicker if you have eaten. You should try it if it is sold in your country.
