I strongly recommend signing up for the Million Faces petition (http://www.controlarms.org/index.htm) to campaign for stricter international control on the arms trade!

Many developed countries are responsible to selling weapons to such wonderful people as Saddam Hussein...I believe we kinda owe it to the world to oppose such a trade.

Ah yes, there was a news article I saw today on this. The claim was that it is easier to trace a suitcase across the world than a gun. However I don't believe the French anti-terrorist squad would agree. I seem to remember they had some trouble tracing a suitcase in an airport last year. c.c

But yes, good cause and I've signed it. I think Britain is heavily involved in the arms trade so I think it's vital that my own country lead the way if no one else does. At least I hope they will.

Yep, IANSA. The organization that brought gun bans to both England and Australia. I'm sure this measure will work just as well.
