9 Degrees Celcius

So, my house has no insulation and I've run out of heating oil and at the moment it's really really cold. I'm wrapped in my blanket, sitting as close to the heater as possible to absorb as much of the little heat its producing as possible.
So let's make this a general weather thread. How's the weather by you? What kind of weather do you enjoy? What's your favorite season? Is there anyone out there as cold as I am? Inquiring minds want to know!

-3 C over here, ;) Stockholm that is. Not too much snow at the moment, but very cloudy :( .
I, personally, enjoy winters. However, only winters where there is some [fudging] snow! And that´s exactly what there (almost) isn´t here, arrrgh.

Cold, but my doors still open. My very spoiled cat scratched at the door, but doesn't want to go out. He wants to sit there with just his head stuck out. Meanwhile, my feet are icing over. I'm such a pushover.
about 4c i think, clear sky, brief snow earlier but not enough to settle :(

Haven't been outside yet, but it has been snowing mad all night and still does, so I'm pretty sure temperatures are around freezing. Looks very pretty, though. Hmm...though...considering that my bike is my main means of transportation...it's gonna be a fun ride to Uni this afternoon ...

I should point out that it's nine degrees inside, not outside, and only in the immediate vicinity of my heater. If it were nine degrees outside I would be extatic. Outside we're hovering around zero.
Hey Red, want some of our snow? We got plenty here in Japan.

Lovely! Why not? :) You bringing it over right away or...?
Well, I have no idea what the temperature is inside but I am sure it is around 13-17 C or something. Not too cold.

According to the National Weather Service, it is 3F (-16C) outside. Compared to the past couple of weeks, that's practically balmy. I took a walk to the grocery store earlier this evening without bothering to put on my coat.
And I like summer. No snow to get in the way of the bicycle.

Lots and lots of snow on the ground.
Its -13.3C outside..factor in windchill though and its -25C outside. Give or take.

Well, there's also the wind chill issue. Going 10 or 15 mph on the bike chills you pretty quick.

Finally below 0. This has been the warmest winter I've ever seen. Constant raining/snowing. There has been one sunny day during this month and probably there were few on December too but I can't remember.
No heating problems, inside temperature is about 21C as usual. Spent two nights in a tent on December though, temperature about -2 degrees.

But then again, moving keeps you warm. I use my bike all year and leave it home only when it's colder than -20C, very icy or when there's just too much snow.

Maybe we're all just secretly jealous of whoever has better weather than we do. But we can't tell anyone. So we just make fun of all those good-weather places and call people living there weak.
I, for one do like snow, but I would much rather live somewhere where there's an ocean and warmer weather.

Have some of ours. Our house is built on a hill and I live on the ground floor. Even though the windows are very poorly insulated, I hardly ever had to turn on the heat all winter. :)

unfair, all that lovely snow ..... all we get is manky sleet and frost and black ice and cold winds.....not forgetting the depressing misty rain that just goes on for weeks .
but summer is nice sometimes!
Snow in drifts up to my waist, so much that it's not even worth trying to walk across campus to get meals. Day #2 of crackers and peanut butter being my three meals of the day. The wind chill is also wicked low, something around -30 probabally. :headbang:
Day off of school though.
