All of these are really cool, if you ask me. And don't tell me the ornithopter doesn't work- I build a scale model, and aside from the rough landings, it works just fine.

An ornithopter is an aeroplane, except that where planes would utilize a propelor or jet, the ornithopter flaps its wings.

Ummm... Your Ornithopter most likely worked because of the same principal that makes ants able to lift 1000x thier own weight.
But Ornithopters are cool. Most stuff that is in Dune is cool.
