Is it just me, or is everyone getting...
Everyone is getting more and more stupid, i see people at my school as the most ridiculous questions, everyone lacking common sense, and only the ability to memorize, some not even that, just maybe the mindless activity of playing some grunt sport. If you see this trend, or if you disagree tell me what you think about the constant degeneration of intelligence around you. Anyways thats all i gotta say for now.

nope. i think the average stupidity level is staying about the same, and as i get older i tend to be in increasingly more selective environments so i don't have to spend as much time around the stupid people of the world. if anything, i am frightened by how intelligent my peers are right now...they're all freaking geniuses, the bastards, and it ruins the grade curve.

that must be it, i have been surrounded by stupid people and i cant really escape it as of now.

IF you buy the whole Eugenics theory, humanity probably is getting stupider with each generation as all the idiotic girls get knocked up in High School and all the smart ones end up in college until they are 30.

It's probably just a temporary abberation peculiar to your school, or at least I HOPE it is. I suspect a goodly portion of this is due to parents who do too much for their kids without requiring them to do much for themselves.

I completely agree. I also suspect that people of above average intellect are marrying other people of above average intellect, which tends to remove some of the genes from the general population. What thinkest thou? :)
