I am officially in love with Elliot Smith.
It's really too bad that he's dead and all... Damn, the decaying probably destroyed his looks. And I'm not really one for necrophilia.
I just found where I put "From a Basement On the Hill" and I'm listening to it. I've decided I need to go get another of his albums.
Hee, a goth chick listening to happy music. The endtimes cometh!
Has anybody else heard the track 'Waltz No. 1"? It's up on Epitonic, I think. That should have made it onto one of his albums, because it's really really good.

For some reason, I kept thinking that you were talking about Emmitt Smith.
I've heard Waltz No. 2. Does that count?

I enjoyed his song on the soundtrack for The Royal Tenenbaums and tracked down a bunch more of his music, I think he's quite good.
His "waterloo sunset" turned me on more to the Kinks in fact.

What's wrong with necrophilia?

What's wrong with necrophilia?
I just said I wasn't into it.
The smell and such.
Doesn't sound like much fun to me.
And do you know how hard it would be to get a dead guy turned on?
Whoa, wasn't there a Rob Zombie song with a title that says something about sex and dead people that? Oh wait, probably...

Someone lent me From a Basement On the Hill and it was pretty much the only thing I listened to while I had it...
It’s a great album and I still love it as much as the first time I heard it
