Team America - World Police just happens to be the best film I've seen in ages... Christ, no one is spared... Michael Moore, Actors, America, Kim Jong Il.... ahhh... bliss.
And puppet fucking. Utter genius.
The humour of watching Team America "save" Cairo and Paris by blowing them up is fantastic :D
"Once again, Team America has pissed off the rest of the world by blowing up half of Cairo"
I love satire....even when its wasted LOL

The tune playing in the terrorist "cantina" was the best bit. Or the song about the Pearl Harbour movie.
I miss you more than that movie missed the point,
And that's an awful lot girl...

No one is spared? Oh please. That was the most blatant Neo-Conservative ass kissing propaganda I had to waste $7 dollars on watching.
The film relied heavily on racial and cultural stereotyping, and I'd guess 90% of the "jokes" that weren't racial or cultural stereotyping was aimed at the so called Liberal Hollywood.
As for the blowing of Paris and Cairo supposedly being a potshot at conservative warhawks, I saw it more as a salute to their "Fuck the World" attitude. After all, there's at least one Neo Con nutjob out there who'd really do that given the means and opportunity.

Hee, I *love* the tasteful editing by the mods!
Myrth, I suppose.
I got a good laugh out of that.

Hmm, it seemed to be pretty satirical to be honest. Both sides need complete lambasting... the whole "bad intelligence" gambit and the stereotypes? And measuring every country in relation to America? it screamed "PISS TAKE"
Curses, my original title edited! Gosh-swelling moderators.

Funny coing from an admitted commie.
Trey Parker is a well-known Libertarian.

It really wasn't about putting down America, just the assholes who make it worse for everybody else.
I thought there was just one problem: No President. On second thought, though, I realized that so many jokes have been directed at the current US president that these guys wouldn't even have bothered. I mean, haven't we all seen enough jokes at Bush's expense?
Anyway, I for one didn't think it was partisan at all.

I didn't think that was wierd either, considering they created "That's My Bush" already.

The concept for the show wasn't even partisan though. In fact, during the 2000 election mess they were worried about not being able to start since they couldn't be sure who the president would be. If Gore had won the show would have been called 'Everybody Loves Gore'.
