Bear with me coz I was thinking of this, this afternoon, when I was more sober. I'm not quite au fait with the polls on this forum yet so if I screw things up, laugh with me... ;)
The cult of celebrity baffles me to a certain degree. Sure, I have my heroes, but you'd not find me rushing out to buy a magazine with them in it. Nor do I pay much internet attention either. Indeed, I didn't know for almost a month that Rob Heaton had died. And lots of you don't know who he is... Which is good...

But local gossip and rumour... I admit I'm terrible for it. I recently heard that a boyhood nemesis is "missing in Thailand", but I swear I saw him not a week ago. Now I'm curious as to whether he really is or not. And no further comment on the subject shall be made. ;)
