How was your day???

Mistress Kimberly
22-01-2005, 00:40
It is snowing like crazy here. It usually takes me about 20-30 minutes to get to work. Today it took me two and a half hours. I was nearly an hour and a half late.

Why do people drive so stupid?????

Well, there's not a cloud in the sky and the cicadas are chirping/buzzing raucously. It's morning, almost 11, and it's going to be a scorcher.

The more snow, the better! :D

Unfortunately, I only had about an hour of sleep :( because I was closely tracking the "most beautiful woman in NS" thread, then I had to get up early for a 10 am dental appointment, which went pretty good. On the way home, I turned in job applications.
And it's pretty lonely without all those fluffles flyin' around... :D j/k

It's cloudy here with some fog.

My day was pretty good! It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! Woot! Let's start the party! Haha.

The only thing that went wrong was that I thought my psych class started at 9:30 but it starts at 9. So I was a little late. *looks at ceiling* But then again, it's only the second day of Friday classes!

Well, the ground is all white. Coniferous trees all have snow on their branches, and they're a fabulous combination of green and white. All of the roofs are white. And at night, the sky is a light gray because of reflections off the snow. Also at night, since the snow is smooth and white, there's enough contrast to see shadows of trees in it from street lights.

In short, it just is.

I SLAYED my science midterm. I finished within 50 minutes, and then I had nothing to do but listen to my mp3 player and read the newspaper.

Later, I had to get a DVD back from a friend and borrow a USB cable, so that meant walking in 10F weather for about 40 minutes in two t-shirts and a flannel. Whee!

I also stayed up late following the thread. (By the way, I must say that not only do I recognize Mistress Kimberly, but also that she is a very lovely lady.)

My day was wonderful - although my life is riddled with problems that must be overcome (or at least should be), the truly surreal aspect that it manages to maintain is a constant factor in my self-awareness.

Perhaps it might be better said that I smell the rain more acutely after a day filled with trouble; I frequently take great interest in watching a dog go for a leisure walk with its master or mistress; I am almost invariably uplifted by even the faintest hint of a smile on another person's face.

Although I do not presume (as many do) to know myself entirely, I do believe that my ability to concentrate upon idealistic virtues and the wonderful things that constantly present themselves before me makes me a very happy person - I frequently find it impossible to complain about even the most outrageously aggravating of situations that befall me.

In short, I love life and all its beautiful twists, turns, and surprises that make it memorable and worth savoring.

So my day was absolutely fabulous. ;)
