I partied with the man himslef this last summer, Tom Selleck is the coolest guy! He was so friendly and down to earth, he even gave me some pointers and helped me swing a girl that was at the party - what a great guy! :D

I have a Tom Selleck story, too! I went on vacation and when I got the roll developed, somehow a picture of Tom Selleck had been inserted among my pictures. I should scan it.
EDIT: I used to show off my photos and say, "...and this is where I met Tom Sellek." :-)

Yes I met the man, and he is the coolest cat. Plus as a former private dick, I loved his show.

I always figured that Higgins and Magnum were performing sexual favours in leiu of rent, but that the networks cut those sections from the episodes.

In the beginning (first season), he mentions having known Masters and met him personally, and doesn't believe he's Higgings then. So he didn't start out as Robin Masters. But...
The series went on a season longer than intended due to obscenely high ratings. Thus the last line of what was intended to be the series finale gives proof.
They might have changed their minds again, though. So unless you don't believe the final season was canon, you can say that it'll change depending on how the script writers are feeling.
