Yep, well actually the Christian part varies on a regular basis. I'll often go from that to agnosticism and back in a very short period of time...

The right to know your charges when being arrested.

The right to contact an attorney after arrest.

The confidence of knowing that police can only search you with a warrant.

Is that enough or should I go on?

Are you a white liberal agnostic who lives in Europe? You may not be implying anything, but that sure sounds like stereotyping to me. How does knowing someone is a white Christian American help you judge the opinions and ideas they express here? Can you not detect bias without knowing someone's race, religion, age, etc? If you are liberal, I find it ironic that you ask the question, since it is usually conservatives that are accused of being racist.

The instant to admitting you're a Muslim, even if you are the greatest human being on the planet, you become a horrible, evil, rancid, filthy, hate-mongering jerk.

Case in point: Paula Abdul is a Muslim. They cut much of her stuff from the American Idol broadcasts in order to keep the average American TV viewer from knowing she's Muslim. She is painted, therefore, as the "nice" judge. The one who has nothing bad to say about anyone. This could not be farther from the truth, but, if average America found out she were Muslim, the show would die instantly.

While that may be true for some, for most, it is not. You stereotype the rest of America when you say that. While I don't deny that there is definitely some prejudice against Muslims in the U.S., the vast majority do not look upon Muslims as you say we do. There have been no mosque burnings, no internment camps, etc.
