Seriously, you dont even have to live with him, hes seperated by hundreds of miles of land, and than several thousand miles of ocean. What do you care? Its not like he waged war on Europe. I have to live within 300 miles of the guy! Its my way of life that is being ruined! He is privatizing social security, is he insane? He hasnt done shi* to your countrys. He is making Homosexual marriage illegal in our country! He was just inaugurated today! I was shocked when I didnt see a big silver blur followed by blood and a ton of screams. For christs sake, he walked, he was a walking target. PEOPLE HAD SIGNS THAT SAID THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT!

By the way, I dont give a shit about Iraq anymore, because no matter how bad it is and will get, its not nearly as worse as the other things hes doing.

Maybe you should just be thankful that he has had no effect on your society.

You would have been asking Americans why they cared about Kruschev, if only you had actually been alive at that time.

Perhaps he should stop invading our spheres of influence?

Great Britain will never support an invasion of Iran because we've spent so much time influencing the internal mechanisms of that country.

Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, the USA has a role as a leader in world politics. We are separated by a few thousand miles of ocean and a fraction of a second in information. Attitude formation is critical in how the world works, and if we, as Europeans, South Americans, Australasians, Africans, or whereverelsans, object to the rhetoric and posturing of the American Christian Right wing, we have every right to make our own noise about it.
Your argument that it does not affect us, so why are we complaining, can be turned around to ask you why should our complaining bother you?

He does affect mine and many others lives. My govt spends shit loads of tax payers money on his vacuous war. Our countries are dotted with US airbases. The moron is on the news nearly every night. Bush is creating divisions in our country...and then some of us just have principles - that's why we care about what Bush does.

We pay higher taxes.....

Our soldiers come home in bags (often from 'friendly' fire!) and families are destroyed.

It has created a world even more dangerous than ever before, ripped communities apart through mistrust and hatred.

Thanks the 49% of people that tried to vote him out!

The rest of you should be ashamed!

If he were the Grand Duke of Luxembourg it wouldn't matter, but America's economy and American foreign policy affects everywhere, especially us British, seeing as we aren't the dominant partner in the alliance.

If the EU does federalise (although we can only hope not) perhaps it will be able to balance out the US' power and fill the gap the Soviet Union left. I think that's why the frogs wanted to create the superstate. Since the First and Second World Wars Europe's influence on world affairs fell massively, with the loss of her overseas empires and such.

You really need to learn the recent history of the world..
Thank goodness we didn't join america against iraq.. but still, the reaction over there.. what the hell was that all about with "freedom fries" and "boycot belgian chocolate" (oh no! our major industry!  )
And also, the tensions between the natives over here and the arab immigrants only increased because of the failure of american tactics in iraq.

Believe it or not, america (and bush) has an impact on us..

What do we care? Let's see..
He is creating hatred in the middle east, not only against the USA but also against the EU. He is allowing to drop the dollar even further; which benefits the short term economy of the USA, but ruining global economy, but he doesn't care because he can't see that USA is also a part of the world.
He did not sign the Kyoto treaty, and many other environmentalist treaties. So that the USA has an economic advantage (we can't use coals, more oil etc.). Fine example: EU has decided to catch less fish, because otherwise there wouldn't be any fish in ten years. And the USA thought, well then we can increase our limits by exactly what the EU declined, hell, even more!
What Bush is doing for America is bad, but worse for the rest of the world..

See assorted replies above. Now respond, with reason please, as to why we should not care.

I care because of a little thing called foreign policy...which strangely enough effects all the countries within the world.

As for the signs that said "Thank you Mr. President!" I personally didn't see any of those (although it doesn't surprise me that they were there). The only sign that I did see was one saying "No more war!" which was being taken down by the police/army (don't know which) and the people who were holding the banner were being moved on.

why would you complain about people in Europe hating/caring about Bush? THEY'RE ON OUR (the bush-haters) SIDE!!! hey, I think it's a good thing when we can proudly say that the whole world hates our country because of a leader that 49% of American citizens hate.

As for the voting issue, I'm pissed because I missed out on voting against Bush due to my age.
