It just goes to show noone really cares about the Soviets... I mean really. If someone made a Hitlerworld we'd impale them in public, but even I don't have any major feelind on this alleged theme park.

Just a thought.

I heard that Mcdonalds were planning to buy Lenin's tomb. Probably a lie...

(hmm, would you get little Lenin dolls with the happy meals? The counter could be his glass coffin!)

I first saw this on BBC World.

Metinks 'tis a good Idea. Parents can take their kids here to show them firsthand what it was like during the Soviet Era.

And then they can buy them toys and candy when they start to whine :D

Many Lithuanians were particularly incensed by plans to build a mock railway that would carry visitors in cattle wagons from Vilnius to Stalin World, a la some Mickey Mouse train ferrying tourists from one Disney attraction to another. The idea, say park developers, would be to give younger Lithuanians a hint of what it’d feel like to be deported.

In Soviet Russia, the train takes you to where the fun all begins. In Stalin World, the train also brings you back home when the fun ends.
