I'd say they're all a disgrace, but for the most part, acting within the protected freedoms of this country which are more valuable than those disgraces.

One of these individuals, however, acted in such manner as would be grounds for termination of employment at any ethical business place I know and then acted illegally to cover it up. As likeable and intelligent as he is, he is the one person in that group that stands out because he abused his position of power and violated his oath.

The others, althought disgraceful to themselves and this country have done nothing illegal.

I am pretty conservative, but there is a HUGE differance between being liberal and being traitorous.

1) Out of all the people/groups you listed, the only one who was traiterous(in my eyes) was Jane Fonda. Her behaviour towards American POWs just by itself should have merited a swift boot to the ass straight into jail.

2)Bill was a pretty decent president(for a modern Democrat :) ) . All he did was make a mess of his legacy; he should have picked hotter/more famous women to have affairs with. A 19 yr old fat ass intern??? Come on, he was the leader of the free world..at least pick someone thats hard to get.

3)I disagree with Kerry, but except for the Winter soldier stuff he has done nothing bordering on treason. Even that is a coin flip as to whether it was legitimate dissent or a step beyond. They meeting with the enemy in France while still under military contract is a big no no though. But he more than makes up for it with his years of govt service(even if u believe as I do that he felt govt service was the best way to meet rich chicks)

4) Moore is a fat lying bastard, but think how much harder it would be to elect Republicans without him. If you were a moderate, would you vote/believe any NATIONAL party that had him front and center during their convention? Personally I think Moore was paid off by Republicans.

Generally I as a conservative have little issue with the substance of most of the allegations raised in this thread (for example, it can, after all, be categorically proven that Michael Moore lies in his films), however, it's quite inflammatory indeed to say, for example, that "NOW hates unborn children." What'd be more accurate would be that they prioritize unborn children below the mother's right to an abortion. That's their opinion and they're entitled to it - that's what the First Amendment is all about. And likewise with the author of this thread.

However, for the purposes of these forums, I think we'd all like to see reasonable arguments phrased to convince rather than offend, and backed up with facts rather than just tossed out there to get people annoyed.

In fairness, of course, I'd like to point out that the mean-spiritedness of the liberal replies has been extremely disappointing. For folks who call yourselves compassionate, dedicated to civil rights, and intelligent, you've been more than a little compassionless, dedicated to squelching opinions not your own, and remarkably easy to be drawn in by an obvious attempt to troll.
