School Delay
Yes! I got a one hour delay for today! Anybody else?
No, i'm still on my 6 month stretch of holidays for another month and a half before I go back to my 12-hour a week (um, i think? close enough) university course. *stretches back and yawns*
cool, but know I need something to do....
Oh comeon. I was hoping to at least inspire a shred of jealousy. Oh well.
you did, I just didnt express it.

I'm jealous of both of you bastards. I have to leave for school in less than half an hour, and I'm still not done with my final project in German which is due today.
ouch. Hope it's not too bad....

Meh. I'll probably pass (the class, that is). And if not, oh, well. Worse things have happened.

I'm rather jealous too. Not only don't I have a school delay, but it's extremely cold outside! At least it's warm in the building...
This is like the best thing that ever happened this year, I really hope the snow gets worse and we have to close.

Damn, I'd just about kill for a snow day right now. I got literally no sleep last night.
Ha, over here, school used to close down when it was too hot. Snow days, pfft.

Thats so not fair. We're lucky if we get to ninety once a summer up here.

They said the other day that they would close school if it got to -40F, but it only got to -20.

*does conversion*
Ninety...that's a pretty normal summer day here. School would probably be cancelled if it got above 100.

Ours would defidently get closed if It got that high. like 14 is an average winter day here. 55 is warm to us.

Really? School cancelled? Due to... temperature? Surely 120 at least.
BTW, 8 week break for me. :p

55 is COLD.
Anything below 45, i'd refuse to leave the house.
I dont think even at night, on the coldest day in winter, it would ever drop below 25 degrees (and thats extreme).

I've only ever had one day that hot, when I used to live in Perth. That was nasty. You could cook your dinner on the concrete.

I got a two hour delay. They think the buses might not start up on account of the cold.

But of course, what do you usually use in summer? Barbeques? ;)
