Do you know what I dont get? Why did the wet head die? What happened to people especially kids in high school and collage using gel, brushing back their hair. And this is talking about men. Nowadays kids just push their hair forward, or where baseball hats. Back in the 40's 50's and earlier than that, doing that would be laughed at, and for a good cause, its rediculous, who wants to go out with someone like that? Whatever happened to people calling the guy with the most gel "pretty boy"? Seems the good days are behind us, but on the good side, its not like we're in the 80's http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.danfastuca.com/albums/mohawks/valerie40.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.danfastuca.com/gallery/mohawks/valerie40&h=604&w=468&sz=217&tbnid=X_DlurHRLmcJ:&tbnh=132&tbnw=103&start=1&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmohawks%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN. Back when people wore collars and gelled their hair, when adults working wore trench coats and hats (not like baseball hats but the ones that looked like cowboy hats but were smaller, and whiter.) Know what I mean?

PS. I like to adress issues big and small... mostly small.

I just had my hair tinted red... so I'm probably not allowed to comment. That girl in that photo has cool hair though.

Perhaps it's because those socialist weasels listen to Kim Jong Il of North Korea who says long hair sucks brain power.

I used to dye my beard green.

I'm balding so what happens on top is of no consiquence (I started balding at 18....how unfair is that?)

You're not the only one. At least that means we can worry less about washing our hair and styling it.

If you grow your beard long enough you can wrap it around your head and it will look like your not bald.

I think modern haircuts can be directly linked with commies polluting our precious bodily fluids.

I've decided that i'm going to grow a mullet, because then I know that i'll always look silly no matter what I do, and it'll make life much easier, because i'll never have to worry about it going out of fashion.

What are you talking about? I know you have never heard of Bryl-Creme -- A little dab'll do ya -- but that was pretty popular in the 50's and 60's. Watch Grease, it's not historically accurate, but it's fun. Watch American Graffiti same sort of stuff. People have been putting crap in their hair since they started combing it.

And those hats had all sorts of diffent names. There were bowlers, hombergs, and I think you are describing fedoras. I kind of wish they were back in fashion, looks like a nice way to keep the head warm.

hmm... I get accused of having a mullet.... which is funny... because a mullet is short on top and long at the back... *munches on his fringe while considering the hilarity of mullets*

Yeah, I used to get accused of that too. I find a swift kick to whatever sensitive region is most convenient followed by a calm explanation of what a mullet is works wonders. Or at least it should, i've never tried it. *thinks*

i just have long hair (not a mullet :p ) and dont really care if its in fashion or not. saves a lot of time not thinking of what to do with it 'this season' and a lot of money never having hair cuts. doesn't actually look that bad either :D
short hair just looks stupid on some people - like me.

I think I want to get patterns shaved into the back/side of my head. I was too young last time this was in fashion, back in the 80's. Then again, I'm not sure if I could pull it off...
