I own the first one and it is great. But my comp probably couldn't ahndle number 2.
I've got it. I'm currently playing as Canada. I've managed to turn it into a Social Democracy, and I'm moving towards an alliance with the USSR. Then it's time to take over the US :D

I need a better monitor before I can come into this generation fo new games. my monitor doesn't support above 800 by 600. I'm not complaining, as I scabbed it off of a busted POS compy at my old high school.

Right now I'm playing as Germany and trying to conquer France, the blitzkreig doesnt work as well on computers.

I'm not really happy about the new research system. But I withhold my judgement until I finish at least one game. Some areas were vastly improved from Hearts of Iron and some bugs were finally fixed but others were just carried over, and some new were introduced.

No where near as confusing or hard as Victoria (No Pops!!) , though it can eb a bit confusing to go into it straight from HOI 1 and expect a lot to be the same (I'm still grasping this whole transport capacity thing). So far I haven't played any of the grand campaigns (I've had it for 2 days), but most of the battle scenarios, I just finished Fall Weiss (Held out as Poland for awhile, though eventually the odds were just too great) and the SCW (it seems easy at first as the Republicans, but when '37 rolls around, gah).

Its easier. Without cheats, I failed in Victoria every time.
I'll get it as soon as I can upgrade my 4 year old computer. For now, i'm sticking to C.O.R.E on HOI1 :)

Still, I'm not sure why Blighty has to wait two months to get it, bloody paradox!
