I am sick of all these stories in the news saying that it is a miracle that all these Mosques are still standing in Indonesia when all the other buildings in that city/region were destroyed. Well of course they are still standing, they are made our of stone and were built in a way to allow the water to pass through quite easily, all the other buildings in these towns were wooden and built like boxes, not allowing the water to simply pass through. The Mosques still standing is not an act of god or anything else of a divine meaning, but just simply the fact that they were made out of stone and much heavier than all the other building in the area.
