I fell asleep after Weekend Update, I want to know what song did The Killers play on their second song.

I know the first one was "Somebody Told Me"

Some MadTV is stupid, but here and there they have good episodes.

And I've only been watching SNL for a year, so I wouldn't know how funny the classics were. I mean...SNL is older than me by 15 years.

Seriously? The Best of Farley, Sandler?

I passed those on as retarded looking at Blockbuster....but hey if they're classic and funny....

Weekend Update is still pretty damn funny.

My favorite moment from last night: "This week, homosexual marriage was condemned by an older single man wearing a cape" with a picture of the Pope on screen.

I rolled.

Will Farrel brought a lot to SNL. 2000-2002 contains some of the best stuff I've seen and I've been watching SNL regularly since 1979.

The Eddie Murphy years are terrific.

SNL tends to be topical humor, though, and it's tough to see what's funny about the early stuff if you didn't live at the time. I mean ... the average 16 year old today probably wouldn't get the Carter jokes or really get Al Franken's bits.

It's all relative.

These days, Weekend Update is what I look forward to every episode

Nod ... as long as Tina Fay is still doing the writing, that should stay pretty ok. She's hilarious on screen as well as a writer (she wrote "Mean Girls" - damn funny).

will farrel is HORRIBLE, i have never found him to be funny in anything he does, and saying 2000-2002 is some of the best stuff snl has ever had is a mockery of the show

Oh, come now ... the Spartan "cheerleaders", the music teachers, and so many others ... funny!

BTW, if anyone mentions, I say it's okay that you guys are going off-topic.

Although I'd still like to know what was the second song The Killers played...:)

All good stuff, yes, but I still maintain that Will Farrel is one of the best cast members ever.
