So, what do you want to happen to your body after you die?
Personally, I'm other or don't care. There's a research institute in America that studies the rate of decomposition of human bodies in different conditions that I am seriously considering donating my body to (if they'll let me). If they don't accept me, then I really don't care what happens to my body.

Preserved with 2070 technology. Put into a large grave especially meant for me. Costing well over ten thousand dollars. So that way, when they decide to clone me a hundred years later, they have something to go on.

I've thought about this quite a bit, and I have decided that I want my body frozen in liquid nitrogen, then shattered into ice cubes. These ice cubes would then be served in the drinks at my funeral reception.

I really don't care. After one dies, the soul leaves the body, making that empty physical shell rather meaningless. I don't want my family wasting their money on a fancy grave and all that if I can't even enjoy it. :p

what is the point of being buried in a box that wont let you decompose and return back to where you came from?

When I die, I will be buried, but the real way; no coffin, I shall decompose and become one with the great earth that has cared for me in my life. Give.

I'll trick people into thinking that my body is in the closed casket, but it won't... I'll arrange for my body to be swung around on chains above everyone, and have the doors locked. Then the strobe lights and techno music comes on.

I read a book called "Stiff: the Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" it was amazing. I didn't know about some of the things that were done to human cadavers!

Seeing as God created Man in his image, and the human body is therefore somewhat a representation of God, I'd like to be put in a rocket, and sent on a journey through the cosmos, until I get eaten by a black hole, or smashed by an asteroid.

Interesting idea you have of medical science. What they actually mean is your body gets flushed (all fluid removed), pumped with formaldehyde, and kept in a drawer for a couple of years. Then it gets given to a university. They give you to a group of first year medical students who cut you up to learn about human anatomy. And I'm not kidding.

I'm an organ donor, so i want all usable organs to go to people who need them. After that, i really don't care what they do with my body.

Well, how I plan to die and what happens to my body after death are kinda one in the same.

When I'm like a hundred something, an old man about to die. I'm going to aquitre a thermo-nuclear weapon, get a globe, spin it and randomly select a place non Earth (preferably a city). Then I will go there with my nuke, and deatonate my nuke with me, effectivly endig my life with a big bang... and hopefully taking others with me.

I guess that fits cremation?

Of course I have to do it so the world thinks terrorists did it, then a year later have a video will released stating that I, the hundred something decrepid old man, did it.
Just to make it all that weirder.

No, in all serious (and I know this sounds weird) but I want to be fossilized so that future generations can dig me up and some will say, "Look at how primative he is! Proof of evolution! He is the missing link between us 6 fingered people with huge brains and apes!" Then some others can say, "No, we are not related to the ape man. We were created exactly as we are now." Then they can clog up an online forum with crap that only they read.:D

I would like to be cremated.

Then if my wife is cremated too, they can mix our ashes and bury us or scatter us, I haven't decided that part yet.

Basically, I just wanna be cremated cause one of my biggest fears is being buried while in a coma, then waking up 6 feet under. :(

Burial and Eaten. I picked burial since it I could only go with one. Worms gotta eat, too, ya know. :D

i'm not sure what i want done with my ashes.

i think either i want them divided up between my loved ones so that they can release my ashes into the wind when they're ready to do so or just have them scattered immediately... by having them blasted into space and released so they cause a meteor shower.

I want to be cremated. I don't like the idea of being buried and have my corpse rotting for the next few hundred years. It isn't like there is a guarantee that my remains won't ever be disturbed. If I'm cremated and my ashes are scattered in the wind then my earthly remains will be free. Oh the places I could go! Not to mention that it is much cheaper to be cremated than buried.

Burial. Back to the earth for me.
