He will be able to tell his side but is looking at 15 years in the slamma'. I personally think hes guilty, whether or not Rummy told him to do it. He sure looked pretty happy when he was doing it, big smile.

Is he guilty or not?

Yeah, he's guilty. He's not the only one though. I hope the investigation is continuing.

He's definitely guilty, but I hope in his defense he intricates Rumsefeld or some superior officers. They are even more guilty then he is.

(EDIT: And this from a Republican ....)

Yeah, he's guilty. Good that he's serving time.

No one made a big enough deal out of Abu Ghraib or Guatanaumo Bay. That horrifies me more than not finding any WMD. People we were "liberating" were tortured. It makes me sick.

He was found guilty by a ten member United States military jury .

Using a series of photos and a video, the prosecutor expressed outrage at the abuses and showed emails from Graner in which he boasted of his actions and attached digital photographs.

"What we have here is plain abuse, no doubt about it; there is no justification," he said. "It is for sport, it is for laughs. He sends it back home by email for laughs."

Four others implicated in the scandal have already pleaded guilty.

The jury altered one count to a lesser charge of assault, rather than use of force likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm.

In his closing argument, Graner's lawyer said the former Pennsylvania prison guard was following orders of military intelligence officials at Abu Ghraib.

The defence were not permitted to call for testimony from any of his superiors.

They are some of the straightforward facts.

Interpret them as you wish.
