Just in case anyone has actually noticed I've been rather condescending/insulting/a prick of late. The reason is rather simple, I'm quitting smoking. So apologies to anyone who's had to put up with me being a dick. Blame it on the nicoteine (or lack thereof). Hopefully it'll have blown over by the end of next week.

On the plus side, people will hate you for being a prick instead of for being obnoxious by smoking all the time. That's better...I guess.

I quit smoking ten months ago, after smoking for 19 years(I am only twenty-nine) Smoking is the oldest habit I have--yes have not had.
When I open a pack for my wife, a cigarette will magically apear in my mouth before I can stop the reflex.
At work I hold my pen like a cigarette and can taste and feel smoke when I take a drag from it.
I spent the largest portion of life with this habit as a social crutch, it does not die easily.
Remember though--it only take three days to beat the chemical addiction.
Every thing after is completely psycological--so you have to ask yourself:
Am I going let a paper tube of dried dead leaves out wit me?
Because once you have gone three days --that is exactly what it is if you restart.
That and you just starting letting some corporation predict exactly what you would do, and base their marketing off your weak will.
Cinch up boy!!!

Don't go cold turkey, it'll never work. Just drop one topic a week. First religion, then Bush, then abortion and so on. In a few months you'll just be trolling about topiary.
Thanks to all who posted support it's appreciated. I'm not completely whoring, though, the original intention of this thread was originally to explain why I'm less tolerant nowadays.
