I am wondering how many jazz fans there are out there? Especially in countries other than the US, but there also? What are you listening to? I just bought Dizzy Gillespie, "Dizzy in South America," it really rocks. I also bought Karin Alison's latest cd.

Serious jazz fan here. Listening to anything I can get my ears on by Miles, Trane, and that era.
MMW and the Grassy Knoll for modern.

I'm not only a fan, but a performer!

Jazz is American music in its purest form. I will never understand anyone who doesn't like Jazz.

Way cool!! What do you play? I am 54 almost 55 and started taking cornet lessons about 5 yrs ago. I am not very good. It is hard at my age to really get the beat and notes and everything at the same time thing down.

I'm into the classic 50's era jazz. Beautiful music. Cannonball Adderly's "Somethin' Else" one of my all-time favourite albums.
Also anything by Miles, Monk, Bird, Hancock,...

I don't know MMW or Grassy Knoll. How about Happy Apple, or The Bad Plus out of Minneapolis?
