Which of the following do you agree with?

1) "What the world needs now is love, sweet love" -Jackie DeShannon

2) "What the world needs is not dogma but an attitude of scientific inquiry combined with a belief that the torture of millions is not desirable, whether inflicted by Stalin or by a Deity imagined in the likeness of the believer." -Bertrand Russell

3) "What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left." -Oscar Levant.

Teehee! such a subtle turn. Reminds me of the line (Rita Rudner?) "my boyfriend wanted to get married. I didn't want him to." Mainly in that it turns on that last few words.

But yeah, seriously, I'd rather have more of my Halo buds who can jock around, work hard, laugh, and live life fully than hippies or labcoats. They both experience life, in my opinion, too polarized: either too much in the factual and exact, or too much in the undefined and be-potsmoked. We need more people like Levant!

Paraphrasing the greatest trash talker to have ever lived (Mohammed Ali) "I am the greatest....but I am so humble. I can recognize my own flaws. My only flaw is that I do not recoginize how great I really am. I am the greatest!"
