Okay in Virginia I am taking Human Sexuality as a class in College. And I didn't know that Oral sex and Fornification(Sex before marriage) were Illegal in Virginia.
The books still haven't been changed...

Is it just me or does that seem strange to have a law about that?

Was the same in GA until just a few years ago. In fact, anything at all other than the missionary position was still on the books as illegal here. This really isn't very uncommon at all.

In at least one state, it is legal to have sex with your spouse on your front lawn, so long as it is in the missionary position.

Also, it is illegal to tie a giraffe to a lightpost in Atlanta, GA.

You can't wear red shoes on Cherry Street in Macon, GA (this is apparently because prostitutes used to all wear red shoes).

I think that there are a few states that still define "sodomy" as anything not involving peg A and slot B while maintaining eye contact. Which means everything except missionary is a crime.

They only enforce the law against homosexuals. There are Virginia State Police who monitor the interstate rest stops for this.

How do you mean? The locations are right for Northern NJ. The way people talk is right for certain areas. As for the crime, I guess it's accurate, but I'm not involved in crime anymore, nor was I involved in organized crime when I was a criminal.

Yea, that's why so many "civilized" European nations have gay marriage and civil union laws and encourage the use of condoms, and spend a lot more money on government healthcare!!! And that's why Massachusetts has one of the lowest divorce rates in the nation!!!

Yes, I know of many English priests, and quite a few in America as well, who want to actively enforce this law. The thought of teaching 14-15-year-old boys how to properly handle the shaft... of the arrow, the longrod, the kisser, to get them to the nocking point... it leaves them all a-quiver.

This is off the topic but I love Virginia and I can't wait to move back. I want to go to Longwood up there.

I'm from around Richmond, and Farmville is only about 45 minutes outside of it. I want to be close to Richmond, but I don't want to go to VCU or the University of Richmond. UVA is too far away. It's one of the cheapest in Virginia. It's one of the easiest to get into (I slacked freshmen and sophomore year... B and C average). And it will let me double-major, and furthermore, in the majors I want: pre-med and education. I'm thinking going to UVA for Med School cause it's a really amazing school. None of the other schools particulary interest me.

At least all your credits will be listed as 'transfer' and the grades won't hurt. Pre-med and education seem to be worlds apart. I have heard that it is good for education, but I didn't know about med. Yes, UVA is an excellent school, except for all the pretentious pricks that go there.
