I personally don't believe evil exists in a human form. Not the qualification: human form. Satan doesn't count, if you believe in him.

Evil is subjective. One man's evil is another's good. Thus there can be no universal definition of "evil".

What is "pure evil"?

Isn't purity a virtue?

Yes. Bush is a good example.

Once, I was given the chance to apply for service in the name of Satan, but was rejected.

It was in a dream, I stood on the flat top of a tall spire and a booming voice out of the night sky asked, "Are you willing to dedicate your energies, your life, in the service of the Great Beast, the Devourer of Worlds?"

I instantly said yes, or rather, was about to form the word, when a force cast me off the spire. As I fell, I understood my mind had been read and I had been found lacking. My job application for a life of Evil, rejected at the interview stage. :(

But the following month, two energy companies offered me internships. :D

No, I don't believe in Evil, nor in Good.

There can not be pure evil, the ideas of good and evil are not absolute, they are abstract. Hitler thought he was doing good, same with Stalin. Beauty is in they eye of the beholder, same with Evil

Actually, if you mean complete, 100%, or full evil, then yes, I believe in it, in the form of sin (Hence the other topic that I replied to five minutes ago), and in the form of Satan, who I believe to be a "living form," if you will, of sin itself. But "pure evil" is an oxymoron....So I don't know where I'd stand on that.

I think the scale is such that it is impossible to be 100% good, or 100% evil.
You may be able to get 99.999% good or evil , but not 100%.
There will always be that little part that thinks butterflies are pretty, or that telling someone that no, their butt doesn't look big in that when it really does, is acceptable.

Yes, of course I believe in pure evil. Otherwise I'd have nothing to look for in an ideal partner.

Of course, evil is only good when combined with genius. Otherwise I'd have to worry about bloodstains on everything, which is just too much hassle.

But, when you think about it, cats are practically evil incarnate. So unless he liked soft, innocent, fluffy kittens it doesn't count.

You don't have to be evil every breathing moment of your life to be "pure evil." All it requires is that you consistently commit acts of evil. Osama, Stalin, Saddam, Hitler, Pol Pot, and many others fit this definition well.

Do you believe in pure evil?
As pure good doesn't exist, so it is with evil. Also, as said before, no evil is universal; it always pursues a purpose.

We don't just die, we live an excruciating long life, go through a long period of extra-intense pain then we black out. We awake in a small, quiet, extremely humid, round, white, room where we spend all eternity... quiet... and alone.

I hear you...

No wait, that is just the little hamster in my head running on its squeaky wheel

I do not believe in good or evil. I believe in subjective conceptions of those, which I myself feel passionately, but everything is actually merely different. At a lower level it is all the same, organisation is the only difference in anything if you get down to the fundamental components.

To me, absolute evil only exists in cases of rape, murder and theft (basically, force or fraud).
Everything else is relative to the society, time and situation.
In other words, anything not forceful or fraudulent isn't evil, but that's what most people are accused of being evil for.

Slippery ride indeed.

If evil doesn't exist, then why even have laws? Nothing anyone ever does is really wrong, you just gotta see it through their eyes. Besides who cares about the common good if there's no good, anyway?

My point: Even if good and evil are relative, they still exist. Trying to ignore that is like spitting into the wind. Its gonna fly right back in your face and own your eyeball. :D

"Evil" Was created by religion, so they could set rules on what you could and couldn't do. Evil does not exist. Only what your mind tells you does.

Nah, there's no such thing as evil. There's just waste. Waste of life, potential, resources etc.

Animals aren't evil, yet they murder, rape etc.

Some animals murder their siblings because they are a direct rival, a lot of birds do this. Some animals murder the young, for instance a male lion would murder the young of a rival to bring the mother into heat quicker so she can sire his young.

I think most people who would be considered evil are suffering from a high degree of mental imbalance brought on through excessive behavioural genes. We are all animals after all.

Evil is however a very good adjective, Hitler and his crew were pretty Evil.

No, there's no such thing as pure evil, but it doesn't stop people from trying.

Perhaps aside from Dr Strangeloves evil arm. it MIGHT be pure evil. But I doubt it. (I have a plan.)

Evil does not exist. Only what your mind tells you does.

So if your mind tells you that evil exists but evil does not exist, where does that leave you?
