I am a fairly avid forum crawler, and several things stand out with the NS general. And I like them.

The contentious nature is a result that there are so many people on this forum and they have so many divergent opinions. On some other forums you can just post something and it goes unchallenged, while here, I could post anything from "Bush is Jesus" to "Bush is the anti-christ" and someone will challenge me.

The humor of the forum, we don't get so involved that randomly inserting a joke in a thread is frowned upon.

You can actually kind of get a look (in some cases, me not being one of them) at the posters general philosophy by looking at his nation.

General at 3:00 AM EST is hilarious.

I posted something closer to 48-50 times yesterday... but then, I had two shrines to keep, plus two threads on physical punishment and one on depression. Bumped my average ppd up from 10 to 13.
