Skapedroe, I've got some advice for you. I know you're trying hard, man, but you're considered to be the most ridiculous member of this community; anyone who sees your posts automatically discounts whatever you have to say in them because it's you. That's not right, but it's what happens when you make ridiculous claims as you have. My suggestion is that first, you stop being so hacknyed with your statements towards Bush. Second, you stop making any claim that is not backed up by evidence and fact. Third, get some proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. We all know you're trying, but no one listens to you, and it's a shame. Because, quite often, you make decent points. Anyone have anything to add to this that's not insulting or a request for him to leave?

Don't expect too much. Other people, myself included, have tried to explain to him why he's widely considered to be out of his mind, but these efforts have yet to result in any meaningful change in his "argumentation," or whatever you'd like to call it.

Well, I still at least want him to read it. I kind of like the guy, even with his ridiculous claims.

ok ill write a longer analysis but the reason why i like to post the article itself its cause it adds alot of extra details and history to the context of the story itself

That's the problem. You don't realize that the things you're doing are exactly the things that are going to hurt your cause. You can't win people over with empty rhetoric and baseless personal attacks on officials and institutions when they believe, and have good reasons to believe, that those officials and institutions are doing what's best for America. Comparing Bush to Hitler is not going to convince anyone of anything; it'll only damage your credibility and by extension the credibility of your cause. You claim that people are immune to all reason, but you don't even try to use reasoned arguments. You make ridiculous claims, support them with the most suspect of sources, and dismiss any rational criticism of your views as "right-wing hate" or "brainwashed stupidity." If you were truly willing to do whatever it takes, you'd change, but you're not, and you won't.

Don't respond to this with an oh-so-clever one-liner or try to change the subject. You have a choice. You can provide an adequate defense of your methods and show that they help, rather than hinder your cause, you can recognize that you are not helping and change, or you can continue to be the guy who damages others' credibility simply by agreeing with them.

despite the success or failure of my methods there is no rational basis for anyone to believe the Bush administration with its abysmal record of failure on every issue in existence is in any way doing whats best for America. Just show me one area in which Bushs policies have been a success--no matter how hard I try I cant think of ONE area hes ever done good in.I dont like Pataki my Governor but I like him in the area of the environment. Ive never had a problem with anyother politician where I cant find one thing I agree with them on but Bush is a total failure on every single level imaginable yet there are some who blindly defend him no matter what

No, I think the question is, how is that relevant? (And many are guilty of this).
Does one's join date and post count really have anything to do with credibility? I've seen a lot of knuckleheads (is that a flame? I'm generalizing after all and present company is excluded Andaluciae, okay?) with join dates way before mine and post counts that far exceed my own and some of them are, well, knuckleheads. And there are others who have joined after I have with fewer posts than I whom I deem to be somewhat enlightening.
