Icelandic resources?

Does anybody know of any online resources for learning Icelandic? I've been fascinated with the country, the culture, and the language for a long time. But I've never been able to get any resources on actually *learning* Icelandic though, so the little I know is from guesswork and puzzling over things trying to make out sentence structure.

As an aside, do you know how funny it is watching some of the people at Barnes & Noble's when you ask them about books on Icelandic? One of them said, "Oh, that's just a myth. They had it on some television show."

Ooh, while I'm talking about books, any titles of books on Icelandic would be appreciated too, as I haven't been able to find any of them.

Thanks in advance...

I fell in love with Iceland when I first visited, and have been planning on moving there ever since.

I found some books, audio tapes, and sites that helped me as well as software.
