Cthulhu is the greatest of the great old ones who lies dead and dreaming in his sunken city of R'leh beneath the waves. When the stars are right he will live again and rise to take back the earth which was once his. He will teach his followers new ways to scream and kill and revell. They will be transformed so they may live on this new earth and serve him forever.

The problem with the slogan for the Cthulhu presidency is that it just doesn't fit him/her/it. Cthulhu isn't evil - describing him/her/it as such is like describing gravity as evil. Cthulhu stands beyond such systems.

That is not dead which can eternal lie but with strange eons even death may die was not written in the old toung but originally in Arabic in kitaba al azif. Later translated into latin and renamed the necronomicon. Learn some religion dude.

Yes, but the fundamental difference between the Judaeo-Christian figures and the Great Old Ones/Elder Beings is that the Judaeo-Christian figures (even the evilones) still see humanity and humans as ends in themselves, whereas we are just parts of the scenery to the GOOs and EBs: we may be temporarily entertainign or useful but we are valueless to them.

We can also go for Krishna, who according to Hindu faith is God Himself and on several occasions has incarnated in the flesh. Think of all the benefits! Christian creationists, who actually claim that they support an alternative scientific theory based upon what's in the bible, say that the earth and all of creation is only a few thousand years old, but Hindu faith actually believes that all of Creation is way older than the mere 20 billion years of our universe. Apparently Krishna's Brahma has lived through several Big Bangs, universal expansions and heat deaths!

But Krishna isn't exactly evil, unless you're a fundamentalist not of the Hindu faith. But hey, fundamentalists wish to see us all burn in the depths of Hell anyway.
