Now for something a bit more light-hearted, yet intellectual. Just to move away from the politic/religious posts.

Rules:
I'll ask a trivia question. First person to answer correctly then posts the next question.
That's it.

So my trivia question:
What year did Thomas Edison makes the first recording and what was it's title?

Close but no cigar as elephants have very big brains - big enough to be bigger than their nasal cavities by volume.

Yes, A rhino has a brain the size of a fist.

That means if I punched a rhino in the nose, my fist might get stuck.

For the record Legless Pirates is right about the name "Mary had a little Lamb", but still waiting for the year. Give you a clue - it wasn't this millineum.

I think that'd be the last thing you'd worrying about after punching a Rhino.

Actually, it brings a vivid picture up of you being dragged and swung around by a sinus-impaired and very irate Rhino.
"Oh God! My hand is stuck! IT WON'T COME OUT! For the love of all that is Holy, someone please help me!"

I'd pay to see that.

Ewwww....think about how snotty your hand would look and feel afterwards. Rhino snot. Ewwww....

Not the dog, or cat or chameleon.

Barking up the wrong trees. Its an animal that has no use for such mega vision.

Don't think so as mercury is liquid at room temperature while lead is still solid

I won't say though, it would be cheating.

Gallium melts at only 30 degrees Celcius.
http://www.webelements.com/webelements/elements/text/Ga/key.html
They always say it can melt in your hand. Not quite as fun as Rubidium which melts as 40 degrees C, but also explodes when in contact with water. http://www.webelements.com/webelements/elements/text/Rb/key.html
Other similar one are Caesium and... well Mercury.

P.S.: to change Kelvin temperatures into Celcius, just minus 273.15 degrees. Otherwise it's the same scale.

I'd think the answer would be barium, as barium is liquid at room temperature as well as mercury.

You need more chemistry. Barium is not liquid at room temp. M.P. is like 700 degrees or something. Intelligent Madness got it right above with gallium. It melts into a greasy puddle in your hand.

EDIT: Conceptualists - tin melts at 271 (or close by)

My turn to ask a question then!! Yay. Hmmm...

Who holds the record for having scored the most goals in just one FIFA World Cup (excluding preliminary matches)?

Bonus question: Who holds the record for having scored the most goals in total in FIFA World Cups (once again only counting "the finals")?
