I have never paid much attention to the show, thinking that it was mostly country and bluegrass, but I have discovered that they have a very good set of programming coming up.
January 15 - Trey Anastasio
January 22 - Modest Mouse and Guided By Voices
January 29 - The Pixies
Then they start showing repeats of the past season, which includes shows featuring Robert Randolph, The Flaming Lips w/The Shins, Damien Rice, Elvis Costello, Wilco, and Ben Harper.
That show may become a weekly tradition.

It's always been a good show. I first saw Richard Thompson on that show.

I had never realized, I have always dismissed it, and ironically the only one I caught a glimpse of this year was a Michael McDonald performance when I flipped by PBS. Needless to say, that only reinforced my opinion of the show.

Well, when Kenny G appears on the show, I'll stop watching.

They bring in a wide variety apparently, so I wouldn't doubt that he has already been on there.

Dude! I so wish I could get it here. I miss it way bad. There's a damned good reason that Austin's the live music capital of the world! :D

After Athens, GA, that is.

Hell no! You ever been to Austin on a Saturday night? Or better yet SXSW? If you have, maybe we can talk. ;) (And only if you put Nawleans after Austin.)

No, but I have been to Athens, and it has an amazing music scene.
Edit: B-52's, Widespread Panic, R.E.M., Elf Power, and the Elephant 6 Collective came out of Athens
