yes. what a perfect chance.
i hope that this man dies the slowest, most horriblely painful death possible, as with all the other people who find this disaster as a chance to pray on younger children.

I thought the last part, saying that the stigma was on the victim, rather than the criminal, was the part that was most rotten about it. It just makes no sense. You're victim of a rape, a horrible crime, but now that it's done, it keeps on giving! instead of support, you're shunned!
You know something's gone wrong when that happens.

Don't know about the rest of you, but it makes me thankful we live in nations that think otherwise.

THat is just wrong, wrong, wrong. what kind of monster would do that. I hope he gets punished somehow.
I met a lovely women today on my route for my job.
SHe was beautiful.
SHe had been in a car accident and was currently using a cane to walk.
I must admit though i was still admiring what a frame she had.
She obviously had worked out before the accident.
I ask about how she was.
The she told the particular Office Iwas in was for a doctor who treated brain injuries. She not mentaly deficent--but she was not 100% by any stretch--she was embarrassed by that-but appreciated my conversation, and of recounting a time when I had my head crcked open at work and had partial amnesia for several days.
She trusted me enough to step outside with me while I grabbed my deliveries.
I told her she would be fine, that she was a good person and God bless her.
How, a MAN, could look at a woman at all and attack her for sex is beyond me. How a man could look at a helpless woman, and take sex from her, when death is just upon them.... I can assuradly testify that I would without any doubt kill that man in that story with my bare hands with zealous glee were placed before me.
I would gladly receive judgement for that, that I might speed him along to his.
I felt very good about making that young lady smile a little and feel more normal then she had minutes ago.
This story, has completely removed any good feeling I had.
I am reminded why I hate people.

You know, In Turkey the court can order that the rapist has to marry his victim. Don't get raped in Turkey.
In several other countries the family of the victim may kill her because she has allowed herself to be raped and is no longer "pure". Happens also in Turkey.

i not only would help you with the killing, i would proudly claim that i assisted in it, and not feel guilty in the least.
I felt very good about making that young lady smile a little and feel more normal then she had minutes ago.
i applaud you for that... i mean i clap really, really hard.
I typed that last post like I am the one with brain injuries.
It was sad, and she had such a positive attitude, she about to graduate college when the accident happened I didnt ask how bad she had been set back because I could see in her eyes when she told me about being a student(she mentioned it because I mentioned I recently enrolled in college--finally at age 29)--that her career choice might be in jeopardy--that she felt she had lost some knowledge.
I just wanted to make her feel better.
I think that is normal--you see someone feeling bad--you want them to feel better.
This bag of sh!t in this story saw someone who was, beyond anything my ass has ever been in, and decided here was his chance for sexual gratification.
Hang that bag of crap by his thumbs then wrap rubber bands around his balls* put up a mirror and over the next few weeks let him watch them fall off.

how about hanging him by his "little guys" instead?
I think that is normal--you see someone feeling bad--you want them to feel better.
i think it should be normal, but its not as common as it should be. and even if everyone was doing it, i would still applaud them.

Yeah. Lately, society's been getting a bit sadistic, in my opinion. It warms my heart to see that there are still nice people around.
How 'bout a round of digital applause for nice people?

Isn't applause quite a digital thing anyway? I mean, you're either making a noise or you aren't. You aren't nearly making a noise, because then that isn't applause.
(J/K!)
But yeah. Applaud the few remaining people with a concept of honour.

That could Block Turkey entry to the EU
Could, but I quess it won't. They have already negotiated about these issues. Turkey has to (and already has) change their oppressing laws and do something about women's rights. No more "honour" murders etc. But Turkey is huge. While Istanbul, Ankara and the west coast may look like a modern society, eastern Turkey is still decades behind. Kurds are still a major problem and on rural areas they may not care about new laws.
We also have to see that this is happening inside EU and US too.

You know, In Turkey the court can order that the rapist has to marry his victim. Don't get raped in Turkey.Actually, that does make a weird kind of sense. If a father is needed to make sure that a child is fed and clothed, and the victim has lost her chances of ever finding a partner due to the stigma, it does make sense but only if you swallow their beliefs and customs regarding the status of the victim.
In several other countries the family of the victim may kill her because she has allowed herself to be raped and is no longer "pure". Happens also in Turkey. Now that's just indefensibly dumb. Maybe there is a twisted kind of logic to it, but I just can't see it.
Personally, I disapprove of the man who did this. It was done for no reason other than a few moments of pleasure for him. He created an extreme and unnecessary net loss. His actions cannot be defended. His death would be an improvement. His suffering would bring satisfaction to the victim, and, in my eyes, he has robbed himself of any right to recieve sympathy for anything that happens to him.

I wonder...
Maybe. Is life more worth it?
But you have to take into account, probably the girl would have lost everything even her family and friends. Unless she's not local.

Move to Chicago, buy a 9mm, a .45, and a .38 revolver. Hunt at night, and don't use the guns in any sort of pattern.
