I just wanted to see what the people of NS think of these pics i found. Heres the first one.

If you guys think its real then tell me what the hell you think it is and if its fake tell me how the hell did they pull out off and made it look so freaky. Every few pages i will post another pic.

Fake. Photoshop, and a bad one at that. Or a guy in a mask. Doesn't matter. It's obviously a fake.

Being a skeptic, I'd have to say that its faked. I guess it looks real enough, but it wouldn't be too hard to make with Photoshop, if you had a picture of the ghost/demon/alien/whatever. In the first picture, the one on top, it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the picture, though I'm not sure why not. Maybe it's the lighting or the fact that the people are clear enough but the thing in the window isn't.

Having said that, I must agree that it is very creepy.

It's a fairly small picture, so it could very well be human.... of course, it could also be fake...

Creepy Pictures....But now-a-days it's so easy to make fake pictures of stuff like that...so I wouln't belive it.

It looks like a kid with a hood on. I can't see the facial features, but I figure it's just the lack of light and looking through a window.

But isn't it more fun to pretend it's real?

To me it just looks like some guy outside the window.
You can see that the glass has diamond pattern banding. Most glass I've seen like that isn't totally clear and flat, it's kind of like looking through the bottom of a glass, so it wouldn't be surprising that the person is blurry.

why cant it just be someone outside the window?

Very easy to do - staged photograph with a person outside the window and "noise/scatter" added in photoshop to blur and distort the image. At this low resolution, can't say for sure if that's how it was done, but would be easy enough.

Could just as easy "distort" a person's image and layer it in at high transparency.

It just looks like a person to me. I can see his hairline and what looks like facial hair. I am unimpressed.

the eyes is what gets me.

seems like a trick of the light to me. i doubt it was faked. there are so many things that can have gone wrong with a photo back then that its hard to guess what might have caused it.

It's a fake. I copied the pic and put it in photoshop. I zoomed in and looked at the pixels around the facey thing and found that all they punk did was use a blur tool.

I could fake a better picture than that.

Well, with the quality of the photo being naturally poor, and me not reading the caption underneath until after investigating the photo, I saw something totally different than what the caption described. I saw an image of a jockey wearing his riding hat initially.

It looks like it might be a reflection, or bit sun or something...The lighting conditions lead me to believe that it might be a result of that. (You can tell by how washed out the image is that the sun is very very bright)

wait, I can tell that the top of the white thingy they claim to be a head is definitely some sort of rock on the side of the road. If you zoom in close enough you can even see lettering on it.

There also seems to be an odd blurring effect on the lower portion that isn't replicated anywhere else in the image, which might be a sign of photoshop, or it might not.

At best it's not a ghost, at worst it's a hoax.

1st and 2nd pics: There are so many plausable explanations for those (as well as the ones you posted previously) that ghosts are completely out of the picture (pun intended). They are either fakes, tricks of lighting, or wishful thinking imposed on a bad photo (I lean towards that later).

Oh, and what eyes are creeping you out? I didn't see eyes in any of those.

I think the claim is that there was only one person in the car at the time the photo was taken, so the second person is the "ghost"

I've seen a much more clear copy of that photo, and the thing in the back is still totally unrecognizable. It isn't photoshopped, cause Photoshop wasn't around. It's something called... damn, forgot what it's called... anyways, you take a picture, move the film back, and take another picture, superimpozing the new picture on the old one.

just because there was no photoshop when the picture was around is irrelevant, its been scanned on to a computer, thus it coudlve been edited on a computer

not to mention its not a ghost, it is something that happened when taking or developing the picture, it doesnt fit into the surroundings , the ghost is somehow perfectly cler without fuzz, yet the actual guy is fuzzy or not exactly completely clear. its not a ghost but its not a photoshopping, i was just making a point

Technically, there is no possible proof as to whether or not ghosts exist. But there is one possible proof, there is no physical evidence that a ghost has existed, or has ever existed.

The same about God, which I belive exists. Just a matter of faith.

My cousin used to Photoshop-switch people's heads for the hell of it. So I know from experience that you can do some extremely convincing stuff on it, if you're good.

it just looks way too two dimentional to be real. I think it was probably sombody outside, maybe a stranger just wandering up to houses? (want to keep the creepy factor you know :p

I've got some great photoshopped pictures with faces switched. It wasn't too hard to do, as they were school pictures (everybody the same size, lighting and looking the same direction). Even with these easy conditions I spent about half and hour to and hour on each to make them look real. Most of the ones I still have on my compy are my first ones (not as good) but they're great for my MSN Messenger pic when I'm talking to one of the people I did.

Anybody know a way I could post those pics?

That's a double exposure, no doubt.
Further evidence is the strange white blot in the middle. That's from a piece of film that was somehow over-exposed.

I compliment your Photoshop skills, I just didn't think you needed people to say it. Most people who are good enough to do stuff like that know it. My experience with photoshop is limited but I still did some great pics back in my day. *Looks back in time to gr11, almost 20 months ago...

I think it's fake, too, but dude you sound like you have no clue what you're talking about. "Durr it's obviously fake but I don't know if it's really there in the image or if it's photoshopped, but I can really tell it's fake." Sounds to me like you're basing your assessment more on your disbelief rather than the appearance of the photograph. :rolleyes:
