Huh. I thought everybody learned it in school.

"Latin Pig
Creature-Pig
Double Strike
Whenever Latin Pig's controller speaks a non-Pig-Latin word, sacrifice Latin Pig

This piece of flavor text doesn't really say anything."
That's a Magic Card, isn't it? Form one of those fucked-up sets.

The next one says "If you can read this, you are a monster geek."

no i dont

You just take the first syllable of a word and add it on to the end, and then add an "ay" onto that.

The card says:
latin pig
Creature- Pig
Double Strike
Whenever latin pig's controller speaks a non pig latin word, sacrafice latin pig
This piece of flavor text doesn't really say anything

I don't get the math thing

ah, easy :)
Same as English, excepet, take the first letter of the word and put on the end, followed by an "ay". If the word starts with a vowel, leave it on the start and add a "thay" to the end of the word ;)

Easy? :D

It's not math, it's 1337-speak.
Hasn't anybody here ever had to try to converse with a self-styled "|-|4xX0r3|2" before? It just has letters replaced with symbols.

Pig Latin? Nonsense, that was darbydravy (sp?)

"noli illegitimi caborundum" THAT'S pig latin! (Don't let the bastards grind you down)

Which is flavor text from another Magic card in the same set. What I would like to know is: why is this important?

I guess I am one of those right brained people. Or is it left brained? I can make out the monster geek quote now but I still can't figure out the |-|4xX0r3|2. The first letter is H but the rest is just gooboly gook.
It is what the people commonly known as 'script kiddies' seem to have decided to call themselves. It says in direct translation 'haxxorer'. Ck's replaced with a dobule-x. -er added to the end for no reason whatsoever. It basically just says 'hacker', except in an infinitely more stupid manner.

Not the first letter, I'm pretty sure it's all the consanents before he first vowel.
eg shirt = irtshay
chip = ipchy
stir = irstay
etc.
