Help!!!!!
I did the most stupidest thing ever (other then my speeling). I cleaned my 91% silver bracelett and neckaless with hydren proxide water now its all brown an green and :( dude i totally forgot all about the effect of oxygen and metals dam it this break has made me dumb/er :rolleyes: . is there anyting i can do to fix it if not wats a good b.s. story i can tell my folks about the "colour changing" jewlery? I've had these piece of crap for 6 years ... HELP....

go buy some silver cleaner and soak it for about 2 minutes....it might do the trick. But beware.....that stuff stinks!

Yeah, you might get the silver cleaner to work, but if it doesn't take it to a jeweler. They might be able to help, but their help might cost a goodly amount.
u know any stores that might have it or any good brands

Get some baking soda, vinegar ( or lemon juice),water and some aluminum foil...place the foil on of a glass baking pan, pour in 1 cup water and about 5 tablespoon of vinegar , then add some 1 baking soda (it gets messy) and place your silver in the mix and wait about 1 - 2 minutes and remove them and then wipe and they should be free of any tarnish

If this or silver cleaner and polish fail you could try using a sacrificial metal, which would probably be more expensive than replacing the jewelry...

I haven't tried out the lemon recipe yet but it is a recipe to take off tarnish but didn't the hydren proxide water effect it in some other way?
