Persoanlly, I thought it was a wonderful display of Cycnicism, Sadism, Irony, and human debauchery. Oh, and Natalie Protman has a tremendous ass.
Other thoughts?
My girlfriend's seen it, though I didn't get the chance to go with her. She said that her mom and sister tried to stop her from going because it was "pornographic" - but from what I've heard, the movie does a very good job of being about sex but never being explicit with it.

yes, it does that very well. Natalie Portman does a stint at a strip club. And the entire movie is about sex but nothing is ever shown, its all just discussed.
