Spit between 2 pieces of white bread or Italian and enjoy. Or else, turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper, a little salad dressing (forget the name of it) and a hint of vingegar on white bread.

Any kind of bread but white (whole wheat, rye, and sourdough are all good choices, preferably lightly toasted)
smoked turkey
honey ham
roast beef
pepperoni (pretty much just throw on all the meat you can find)
Tabasco sauce (this is a must)
any kind of spicy mustard
Muenster or Swiss cheese, whichever you feel like at the time. I could go for Swiss right now.

Unless it's a peanut butter and honey and Lays potato chips sandwich, of course.
1 pound chopped alligator tail meat
1/4 cup water
Pinch of flour
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup yellow onion
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup green onion, sliced
2 tablespoons parsley
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoon parsley
Garlic, as desired
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/4 pound crawfish tail meat
4 slices Swiss cheese
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
Chardonnay
Fresh baked hoagie rolls
Herb Butter
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons parsley
Dash of basil
Wash alligator thoroughly and sauté in herb butter for 2 minutes on each side. Set aside.
Cook etoufee by combining butter, onion, celery, bell pepper, bay leaves and garlic. Sauté until tender, squeezing lemon juice while incorporating Cajun spices, cayenne pepper, and parsley. Add water and flour; simmer. Add crawfish, green onion and a little chardonnay. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until crawfish is done. Blend in food processor.
Take your cooked alligator and place on skillet and top with etoufee. Top with Swiss cheese; melt cheese, and grill the hoagie roll next to it. Place hoagie roll on top, flip over, and finish off sandwich by slicing in half and garnishing with a kosher pickle.
In case you think I'm kidding, remember I'm cajun (creole style)

I disagree with cooked sandwiches being included as the same food type. I should really have done two threads, one for hot, one for cold.

2 slices french bread
generous amounts of peanut butter
generous amounts or favorite jelly, jam or preserves I prefer Red Raspberry preserves.
Apply liberally to french bread and * PRESTO * you have the perfect sandwich.
With a side or Chicken noodle soup and potato chips mmmmmmmmmmm!!

If we include hot sandwiches as well as cold, then a fried egg with salt , pepper, chili sauce of ANY description and a lot of Brown sauce is excelent, and really easy to make.

The only change I would make is a thin slice of ham and minus the brown sauce and that is a winner. and extra hot sauce!!

whole wheat bread
3 cups mayonaise
1 slice of roast beef
3 more cups of mayonaise
whole wheat bread
uh... *shudders* lets start over, shall we?
i'm just a roast beef guy...
if i was supreme dictator, i would outlaw american cheese and white bread....
ugh not for the bad taste, but for the bad healthfullness. american cheese technically is not considered cheese because its aged with chemicals, not with cultures and time... greedy americans, putting money before health...

A perfect sandwich can't have more than five ingredients, otherwise one of them has always run out.
Here's one:
Rye bread
Margarine/butter
Meetwurst (cold-smoked high-fat, salty sausage; nearly identical to salami, but a bit different spices)
Edam cheese
Optional: cucumber slices
Another:
Reindeer (cold-smoked)
White bread

Three slices of Hunter Rye (Roggenbrot?), start by applying mustard to bottom-most slice. Next, four slices of Hungarian salami. A thickish slab of Old Cheddar goes over top of that. Then a little more mustard, and the middle slice of Rye bread. Spread mayonnaise atop Rye bread slice, sprinkle fresh-cracked black pepper. Place strips of freshcut leaf lettuce (not iceberg), and thinly-sliced Roma tomatoes over top of Rue and black pepper. Add a small pinch of table salt to tomatoes. Apply thin spreading of mayo to underside of final piece of Rye, and you're done.
Slice 2 dill pickles (Polski Ogorki) lengthwise and garnish the 'wich with a side of pickles.
Enjoy.

Er..... Nice try. Should actually be less than 25 kilos.... Unless you meant about 225 lbs?
As for sandwiches:
Two bits of thin cut white bread, a good layer of butter on both sides, two recently cooked sausages, either fried or grilled (I mean real Newmarket sausages, not American frankfurter style), and lashings of HP sauce.
Can't beat it.

Hey Majesto,
You familiar with Cherry Valley out in Flushing? Their recipe for "The Beast":

It's utterly revolting. Everybody knows the Cuban is the perfect sandwich. Or proscuitto, tomato, and fresh mozzarella.
