Holy crap! You took me back in time? That's amazing, how'd you do it?!
Anyway, yeah, I'm totally out of the loop, but it's all good. And I know you've been modding for General also, so "the" should be "a," but oh well.

Well, if I recall, even the mod that added Tsar to the mod-list admitted it was sneakily done. So I guess that could be your excuse for not knowing.

Well that's just it. Its not a popularity contest. Well... it's not JUST a popularity contest.
One thing I would have to do as mod would be to spend more time and closer attention to the other forums. Like International Incidents. I'm not sure if I have the strength.
I came to Nationstates for the roleplay. I loved it. INternational roleplaying.
Unfortunately, I discovered that for the most part, everyone sucked at it. People were so horrible at rping combat, especially naval combat that I felt my brain melting. Worse because the horribleness was becoming the rule, rather than the exception.
Fortunately, I found the general forum. All the personality, none of the rules. This is my home now. :)
I dare not think what horrors would await me back in the bowels of rp hell if I were to become a mod. :(

Yeah it was pretty cool, although I was really tired at the time so I didn't take the whole experience in properly. What was cooler was going to park road post where they did the LOTR sound mixing (they had a fireplace with their oscar on it) and watching a few scenes from the movie in their main mixing room. The sound quality there is as good as anything in the world, and I was sitting right at the front in front of the sub. It makes your chair vibrate.

Greetings, puny humans! Cower before my might! Or something. You can just give me cake if you want. Cake is good.
As for where I come from, yes, I do tend to stick to the NS forum for my entertainment. Aside from moderating stuff, I usually don't go into the General forum much. I don't intend to become "the General forum mod" - it's just that about 90% of the things reported in the Moderation forum are from General. That happens when you debate emotive issues, I suppose.
Regarding Sdaeriji's question: I am in fact of the male persuasion, not that it matters much.
And as for the burning dear-God-I-hope-it's-an-eye of Sauron; I'm pretty sure it's an eye. The movies weren't rated R21 or anything, after all!
