Disposability is to be included in the criteria. I, having no manual dexterity, personally put ease-of-construction over price of materials. Being easy to clean up is the second priority (were it first, a Blunt'd win hands down, assuming you deal with the scent), as in "you can shove it in an empty tube sammiched by dryer sheets and no-one'll know it was there two minutes later." Efficiency should be considered a given, but I know some smart alec'll comment if I don't mention it.
I personally like Glass Eyedroppers. Tiny, no assembly required, and it works surprisingly well. The downside is that they're 50 cents to a dollar each, though they're reusable.
I like to start a thread that's doomed about once every two months or so. People like to jump in just before it closes, and it makes me very special for people to post in my threads.
