THE LOST PLANET

I just finished watching coverage of 14 term congressman Robert Matsui's return to California to lie in state in the Capital for public viewing. He was re-elected this last term with 71% of the votes, indicating the supreme confidance and admiration the people of this state had for him. I for one found him one of the very few politicians I could express admiration for. I viewed him as the one person I would have liked to succeed either Boxer or Feinstein should they have relinquished their senate seats. I will visit the capital tomorrow to pay my respects.
And I don't respect many who hold public office.
