The first example of why you shouldnt have voted for Bush.

Well..here it is, the first example of 2005, of why Bush should have never been re-elected.

It seems natural disasters and terrorist attacks are Bush's best friend.
Why?
It diverts media attention away from the crap he pulls.

What did he do?

Well, maybe you have heard about a place in Cuba called Gitmo?
We have a bunch of prisoners there, remember?

it seems as though Bush has decided that if these people were given trials, that many of them would be found innocent, and let go.
So what did Bush do?
He decided that these people will not be charged with crimes.
That means....(you guessed it) under the Patriot Act....

They can be held indefinately.

No trial by jury.
No due process of law.
Nothing.

This is the man you voted for.

This is the man you chose to represent and lead this county.

If this example makes you think that Bush is doing the right thing....

Your an idiot.

To be honest however, this looks like nasty flamebait... prepare for the onslaught of Bush-Lovers...

By the way Your 2-party system sucks. You had a choice of 2 moronic losers, and you chose the Stupider one.

:headbang: If you're going to insult folks, at least do it properly.
I'm not so keen on Bush and the foolishness he's brought the US into but I firmly believe the respective Dem. candidates wouldn't have done any better.

And yes, the two party system does suck. That's why I voted third party.

Flamebait?

Maybe, but to me, its hard to argue with the truth.

You cant really say that Bush has americas best interests at heart when he throws away over 200 years of legal system as set forth by the Constitution.
But, then, he's already shown that the Constitution doesnt mean much to him, when he so readily attempt to change it to suit his own political agenda.

As for the two-party system...your right.

We were given the choice between the Devil, and a Douchebag.

The devil won.

For God's sake Squatches, it's not that difficult!

You're = You are
Your = belonging to you

Funny story... I am not old enough to vote, but my dad has recentlybecome a U.S. citizen (from Brazil) and I asked him if he voted. He didn't. I then asked him who he would have voted for.

"Bush."

"Why?"

"Because he kills terrorists. " He said it with a lot of emphasis, for some reason.

God bless America.

Your an idiot.

You forgot all the other reasons, like how he was able to take all the goodwill of the post-9/11 and flush it down the toilet in less than three years, his truly remarkable ideas about environmental control (i.e. "What's an environment?"), the fact he doesn't actually read the papers himself, and accepts the advice of people he BELIEVES MIGHT read them, his amazing ability with FBI and CIA terror reports leading up to 9/11("There might be a terror attack on the US? This calls for an immediate holiday!"), his instigation of an illegal war on nonsensical trumped-up charges, his reliance on theological justification for his actions ("God is on my side, therefore I cannot be wrong!". Um, George, that's what the other guy says too...), his decision to take a round-the-states tour in the 11 hours AFTER the WTC was hit (Run, little piggy, run), the fact he managed to undo all the Clintonian economic wonders in EXACTLY the amount of time it took to achieve them (Clinton took the Dow Jones up 4% in his second term. Bush brought it back down precisely the same amount in his first.), the way he attacks moustachioed middle-eastern dictators and supports bearded middle-eastern dictators (is it the idea of a moustache without the accompanying beard repugnate to people called Bush? WHY?), the neat way he's lost 2 million jobs in the US since he started his premiership, or maybe the way he's lost a vast budget surplus left over from Clinton, and run up a nice big deficit?

Who wants some more?

How about the quotes and pictures? As a country, do you not find it embarassing when your president tells the world most of your imports come from abroad, or is pictured holding a book upside-down? How about when he fails miserably to cover up his old cocaine habit, or his drink-driving charges? How about the fact he TRUSTS KARL ROVE, the man who invented push-polling? How about the fact his dad is GHW Bush, a man who became president so he wouldn't have to eat broccoli any more (There's video evidence of him admitting this.)?

We don't have a say, no. Shame really, since most people in the US seem to have no idea what your country is doing.

The reasons Dubya piss me off are too numerous to list in anything shorter than a bible length book. I'll try a few. Gitmo, 'quaint' Geneva Convention, packing courts with loonies like Owens, Gale Norton, Ashcroft, dismissing scientific findings he finds inconvenient, gutting the EPA, drilling on Padre Island, the Patriot Act, corporate welfare, Gonzales, silencing disagreeable protesters, Harken, Rice, states-rights Bush deciding California has no right to medical marijuana, gutting industrial safety rules, being in the pocket of the timber, oil and mining companies and claiming to be a Texan just scratch the surface. :headbang:

If the United States as a nation does not stand up and demand that the prisoners in Gtmo bay receive a trial, I will be sorely dissapointed with them.

For a nation whose core principles are supposed to include "liberty and justice for all", the hypocrisy of "unless we say so" just doesn't sit well with me. The fact that the prisoners are being held "on the suspicion" of terrorist activities, tortured and or generally mistreated is despicable.

I'm all for killing the bastards if they're guilty, but god damnit, give them a trial and find out.
