I'm not very good with this kind of thing, and it's obviously nowhere near finished. But would apprecite some input none-the-less.

On the mainpage? Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It's way to busy.m What about the other pages?

Get rid of the tiled background, i can't read whats written on the main page. Blue on blue doesn't work well for the eyes. :-P

The cleanest page is the chain-of-command page.

The scrollbar is too high, i can see stuff cut off that's scrolling.

Try to keep all the pages the same in terms of font and background color.

The navigation bar jumps around in size depending on the page. Try and keep it the same.

I'm not sure whats past the "secure access", but besides that, it's a decent start.

Learn good use of the iframe command. Use it well and use it often. It's a very handy little device. :)

It's okay but your HOME page is too much, have one crest in the center the tile thing isn't working.

ok well the code view is ok.. i admit, I use dreamweaver, but for code view only!

note pad is my friend, I love it because it never ever crashes :D .
anyway for the site just get one plan colour as the background, I would use the blue but I am biased towards the dark background light text way of doing things so the colour is up to you really. I agree with who ever said that the naviagtion moving is irrataing. I am also gonna add that at high screen resolutions the navigation and banner look really tiny. So if you can make it a % of the screen width that might be better.

you haven't managed to crash notepad yet? you need to live a little.. I crash notepad at least once a week

Awww it aint that bad ... I use notepad personaly

but dreamweaver makes much cleaner code then frontpage

The Chain-of-Command contains more spelling errors than a second-grade spelling bee. :D

This problem is an intresting one, I've veiwed the site on four diffrent computors. The second line of text only appears on one of them, and that was a library computer. Given that it can't be seen from my home computer, I'm ignoring the problem until I figure out... forever!

I thought about this and then thought it sounded like work... so I'm paying a friend of mine to do it. Fortunately she know's nothing about computers so this should be a hoot!

When it's done you still won't know :P But certain nation's have already been told how to use it when it is up, essentially it will have all the little OOC and IC secrets from my RPs that only nations with operatives in my nation would know. My so called "allies" :cool:

I was going to do something like this instead of having numerous threads littering the place. I already have one for one of my nations, this one really needs one though. I won't use a template from a free provider though... I really don't like them.

Definately, this is just the starting point.

Needs a national history full of all the wars and treaties that Rotovia has endured.
Don't forget the Rotovia-Farmina War! Most peaceful war ever.

Perhaps former presidents and brief details on political parties.

Me neither. I used to know bits and some bits of Javascript, but it all blew out of my head in a big strm some time ago. Still, you can do some cool things with WYSIWYG editors :D.
