Rathergate Revisited.

You thought it was gone but through the miracle of the internet I bring it back to you to examine. Or rather, to examine someone's examination on how Rathergate (i.e, the CBS documents that allegedly showed Bush got preferential treatment when in the national Guard) went down.
I found this very enlightening and I wish to share.
You know the drill. Read and comment.

All I caught was....
"You thought it was gone but the miracle of the internet I brought it back to you to examine. Blah blah blah. It's not g0atze"
Hey, if anyone can do that and post it on the internet and make it one of the most widely accepted images of insult, then it must be a miracle.

Wha? Insult?
It was either that or I'd pretend to be a magician "presto chango".
I take it you didn't read the critique, then.
Nope, sorry. I'll go now.
There's nothing to see here.

There is nothing to see here because you deny liberal media? Or that you honestly could care less after all the attention it got? (Honest question)

The answer is None of the Above, Bob!

I thought you were leaving.
Odd that he says that there is nothing of value to read here and yet says he has not read it.
Psychic?

I'm a slow reader, so this took me a while.
It validates a lot of things I was saying as I was ramming my head into a wall in frustration.
I believe this indicative of what I've been all bent out of shape about for the last year-the creation of white noise (not the new horror movie). Facts are meaningless, even spectical no longer means anything. It's all about white noise, spewing and repeating as much as can be formed as quickly as possible until any notion of rational look at the story is hopeless.

Who was it that said "A lie told often enough becomes the truth."?
I think that applies here no matter who said it. (Marx, Stalin, Hitler?)
In any case they are keeping good company.
EDIT:
Was soooo close. Lenin said that.

Yup, it's utilization of all the avenues we have in this new information age...ironically, to keep people from effectively using them. It's as if everyone has been given a microphone...and certain people have already learned that if they scream something (anything) into theirs for as long as they can, they can drown out anything else. I personally think that the "accurate but false" point should have been the end of it, but of course that's not the direction the rabid right was taking this. As soon as the story came out, it became a matter of derailing it into damning Rather instead of Bush. Somehow, for all the blustering I head about this on right-wing radio, that secretary was never mentioned...
Anyway, good story, I bookmarked it for future use.
