If you were H.L. Mencken, I would respect this statement, seeing as his birth marked the Second Coming. Since you aren't, it is ridiculous. No government is perfect. (Though, actually, all forms of government are perfect, it is merely people that are at fault.) But it serves a necessary societal functions. There have always been governments for as long as we know, from primitive tribal arrangments to modern bureaucracy. Anarchy occasionally works, but not often or for long periods.
