I'm sorry, but recently the General forum is starting to lose its appeal to me . . . more ever than ususal. Is this a sign I'm leaving soon? I don't want to; NS is a great game - but I just have that feeling . . .

Me too. I'm just wishing that SA would have us on the Weekend Web and we'd have FUN SA n00bs here. Not just regular n00bs.

We could all start hating each other.

I've noticed it too. Usually I just put it down to a bad mood, but I don't know this time. Maybe the General forum has started sucking more. I never thought it possible... ;)

Why not just rename the topic "spammers are welcome to post here"?

If we all feel this way I saw we take it upon ourselves to make this place better again. We just need to think of a way how.

Or we can wait until a newb like Defensor or USE joins in. That is always a good time.

They could have a ball with International Incidents :D

Because then we would have to rename the whole damn forum to be consistent.

Cannot think of a name

Oddly enough I thought about these sentiments myself earlier today and this is the conclusion I came to:

Occasionally the forum holds nothing for me, even for days or weeks at a time. Is the forum different? No, it's thematically the same-which is natural. I've just said what I've needed to say on certain subjects and don't feel like retreading it again. There are plenty of people who haven't exhausted themselves on those subjects and they have every right to rant and tilt at thier windmills.

Eventually something comes around I start posting again.

If it doesn't eventually I imagine I'll stop checking, then stop signing in the nation, and then my Nation will die. Will it be because NationStates diminished? No-I'll just have said what I felt I needed to say here. It happens.

And here I thought we were know-nothings. ;)

Not just hte general forum, but also NationStates and International Incidents is losing some of their activity, fun, and spontaneity.

Sigh...i wish there would be some major RPs, or mayb even a war.

Maybe its an issue of post-partum depression ...
following the unholyhoax season.
Or maybe it's like someone else postulated a few months back about what would happen after whatever jerk won whatever election, what else would there be to argue about?
There's the mememememememe thread that goes on a few pages, unbelievably. Maybe there's something to that appeal.
Maybe there needs to be more college students arguing their majors or something.
